Review
We bought a box of the Kirkland Signature Everything Seasoning Breaded Cod and gave it a try. I expected the breading to have more flavor – I wouldn’t say it was bland – but I didn’t get a strong flavor of “everything” seasoning. That was okay with me actually, and I squeezed some lemon on it and it was pretty decent!
I have to say that I don’t think any frozen fish really comes out as good as fresh fish. Just by being frozen I accept that’s not going to taste as good…so was it amazing? Am I raving about it? No. But given the convenience of this it’s still a buy in my book. If you’re looking to make it easy to eat more fish, or maybe you need an easy meal for Lent…I’d definitely give this a try. I do think you’ll want some fresh lemon to put on it 🙂
I should also note that I baked mine. I’d love to hear from anyone who air fried it! I will try air frying next time! I may also put a little garlic on the top before I cook it next time.
I like the crusted tilapia better from a strict taste standpoint…but I like that this is wild caught. Toss up between the two for me! I haven’t reviewed the tilapia yet it’s on my list!!
