As Covid and quarantine seem to draw on…so does the trend of home improvement! We recently renovated our Kitchen and scored this gorgeous gold kitchen hardware at Costco! We paid full price for it but as I write this post it’s on sale! I’m buying more of the gold hardware now so I can use in the new cabinets we will get for our laundry room (next up on the room makeover list!) and eventually (hopefully!) built-ins in the foyer and family room.
I am mixing multiple styles and sizes of the gold kitchen hardware from Costco in my kitchen. I haven’t tried the other metals, but in my opinion, the gold is the trickiest to get right…so I am confident that kitchen hardware will look great all the color variations – it comes in 6 colors so there’s one for everyone’s tastes.
We used the Octa Series Modern cabinet pulls in gold on our drawers. These are 7.5″ center-to-center and on sale right now for under $5 per pull. They are heavy, solid and gorgeous! For the doors we chose the Hexa Series Modern Cabinet Knobs for our doors. These are 1.5″ long and are currently 10 for $16 on sale! That’s about a buck-fifty each. And they look and feel great, and coordinate with the Octa pulls. This cabinet hardware line looks very expensive, and I recommend these all day long…especially at the discount price!
I went back and forth over choosing gold hardware – I love how it looks, but it’s also trendy now, and I find it a little tricky to work with in terms of incorporating it into the larger home setting and the mixing of metals. I love home design, shopping, looking…but when it comes to actually executing an overarching design that’s cohesive, that’s my weakness…so at this price…I felt I could go with the trendy color, and later if I wanted to change it…it wouldn’t be a giant waste of money.
In the end, I LOVE how the hardware looks! I’m shocked it looks and feels this nice at this price! I’m really pleased and definitely recommend trying it out.
