Costco Apple Pie Item Number & Price 2023

Costco Bakery Apple Pie is Costco Item #1408372 and costs $12.99 in-store.

Note: That’s $2 LESS than the Fall of 2022! Take that, inflation!

It’s still vegan, egg free and dairy free (though it discloses possible cross contamination from production equipment). For a pie this huge, it’s a great deal…just like it’s sister, the Costco pumpkin pie, who was still $6 this past Fall!

We’ve almost never met a pie we didn’t like. Especially apple pies! The Costco apple pie is no exception! Honestly, for twelve bucks, this is a very good pie. It would be hard (if even possible) to make it homemade for much less!?

It’s definitely a sweet pie (not on the tart side…but you expect that right?)…and honestly, it’s really good. No complaints from us. We buy it, we eat it, we like it and we’ll buy it again this year!

Did we mention the Costco apple pie is vegan? Yep. This plant based pienormous Costco pie is egg-free and dairy-free! (check cross contamination warnings though, depending on how strict of vegan guidelines you follow some will not deep this vegan). It also doesn’t contain shortening, hydrogenated oil, artificial fillers or colors. It’s a pretty straightforward pie as far as pie goes…apples, sugar, cinnamon…flour and oil for the crust…boom.

It’s a great dessert option if you have vegetarians or vegans at your Thanksgiving this year! Again, check with your Vegan friends….but it should work for many!

For our family, we love to cook and we make a lot of homemade food for Thanksgiving. But everything can’t be homemade. So when there’s a good, reasonably healthy and super easy option to shortcut part of the Thanksgiving meal like the Costco Apple Pie…it’s a no brainer. And honestly, you just can’t beat the price!

  1. It has milk and eggs in it according to their website, so not vegan. https://www.costcobusinessdelivery.com/costco-bakery-double-crust-apple-pie.product.100444636.html

    1. Milk and eggs are not in the ingredients list on the pies sold in my store – the ingredients are listed in the original post section. They are baked in the local bakeries which have potential cross contamination (which I suspect is why it’s labeled like that) but milk and eggs are not listed in the ingredients.

  2. I came here after trying to find out which times of year Costco offers the apple pies. In Los Angeles, they were only $10 at Christmas! And I would consider them more on the tart side. Definitely made with firm Granny Smith apples. Next time I see these pies, I’m buying extras for the freezer.
