Pumpkin Spice Loaf at Costco

Fall is coming, and that means pumpkin spice EVERYTHING season! And fan favorite Pumpkin Spice Loaf at Costco is back in the Costco Bakery! This pumpkin spice bread loaf is generously topped with cream cheese icing and white chocolate shavings…so if you’re a fan of the Pumpkin Streusel Muffins and the Costco Pumpkin Pie (both also back in stock for Fall 2023)…check out the Pumpkin Spice Loaf!

The Pumpkin Spice Loaf is only available in the Fall season, this is not a staple year-round item…so get it while it’s here! It just hit our store this week, give it a week or so to roll out nationwide…but this is generally available at all Costco warehouses in the US.

Our Review of the Pumpkin Spice Loaf from Costco

The Pumpkin Spice loaf is a very sweet treat – the combination of cream cheese frosting with a sweet pumpkin bread is a classic fall favorite – but it is VERY sweet – in our opinion this is a dessert not a breakfast loaf. We like it, but we have a major sweet tooth. It does tend to get mixed reviews from Costco fans, but on the whole we find the reviews trend favorable…just know it’s like a pumpkin version of a carrot cake.

My 9-year old eats everything child loves it. My 10-year old doesn’t like anything (especially cheese which includes cream cheese) but has a major sweet tooth thinks it’s okay, but he’d prefer less frosting.

If you like a less sweet pumpkin bread, this might not be the loaf for you as I think it falls more in the cake category. You can always scrape off half the frosting to reduce the added sweetness, but then you might be better off trying the pumpkin muffins from Costco instead.

Costco Pumpkin Spice Loaf Calories and Nutritional Info

I’m working on getting the updated calories and nutritional content up for you – check back in a day or two and I should have it up. Tentative info is: 10 servings per loaf, 420 calories per serving, 21 grams of fat, 1g of fiber, 35 grams of sugar and 330mg of sodium. Sell By and Storage

The Pumpkin Spice Loaf is made fresh daily in each local Costco Bakery and it is sold room temperature. The sell by date is generally the following day. We suggest you store this pumpkin loaf in the fridge if you don’t plan to eat it right away…preferably in an airtight container.

We haven’t tried freezing it but don’t generally think of cream cheese frosting as freezer friendly…but if you’ve tried to freeze it and have an opinion on that to share please share it in the comments!!
