RXbars at Costco come in boxes of 14 bars (seven of each kind) and costs $18.79 in-store at Costco warehouses. The RXBar slogan is no b.s. and these bars one of the simpler options in the protein bar aisle.
RX bars are a date sweetened protein bar with limited whole-food ingredients. They feature clean ingredients that are gluten-free, soy-free, and dairy-free. Each RX bar has 12 grams of protein and they make very convenient breakfast or snack on-the-go.
Our Review
We’re fans of RXBar in general. We like the flavors in the costco pack, and the simple ingredients, no artificial sugar (no sugar alcohol) or added refined sugar. They are sweetened with dates, which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but that’s something we don’t mind…so it works for us.
We appreciate that the texture isn’t chalky, though again it’s date forward. On the whole we feel they taste pretty good, and RXBars are one of the better snack bar options for a pre-packaged, convenient, healthy-ish snack at Costco.
