These Just Bare Chicken Nuggets at Costco are super popular among Costco Members, and known for being a dupe of the Chick-Fil-A Breaded Chicken Breast Nuggets! The Just Bare Lightly Breaded Chicken Breast Chunks are made using real chicken – they’re lightly breaded, boneless, skinless chicken nuggets and sold frozen. Each serving of these popular Costco nuggets boasts 16 grams of protein.

The Just Bare Chicken Breast nuggets are made with REAL chunks of chicken breast and not the ground/processed chicken you’ll find in traditional chicken nuggets. They are more like chicken breast tenders (or chicken strips), except they’re nugget sized and have a bit less breading. This may be what you’re looking for, or not…but know what you’re getting because if you have a particularly picky kiddo, these might not work for you.

Our Review of Just Bare Chicken Nuggets at Costco

We think the Just Bare Nugget are good and definitely a higher quality nugget option, especially for adults. We don’t think they are “just like Chick-Fil-A” but they are real pieces of chicken rather than processed chicken. The breading was inconsistent, some had a nice really light breading, others had a pretty thick breading. Overall, it was less though for sure. We super appreciate them being real chicken and while they have less breading, we still think they’re far from the chick-fil-a breading. But, in our quest to feed our kids as much real (ish) food as possible, they’re still a way better option than a traditional nugget. And definitely a more adult-friendly substitute.

To be fair, we baked them. I haven’t bought them again to try them in an air fryer, I’m wondering if they might be a lot better in an air fryer. Have you air fried them? Thoughts/suggestions?? Is that the missing component? Maybe I’ll love them in the air fryer??

We thought the overall quality of the chicken in the Just Bare chicken nuggets at Costco was good. We had a few wonky pieces that hit the trash, but on the whole, these are pretty good and we’d buy them again or recommend them to a friend. Definitely a more refined, grown up and higher quality nugget option.

That said, truly people LOVE these lightly breaded Costco nuggets. If you’re interested in trying them, I say 100% try them. If you haven’t read my reviews before I am a little weird about frozen/prepared chicken…so I’m a really, really tough critic on products like this…it’s important to know that when you read my reviews of frozen chicken products!!
