Price Update. The Don Julio 1942 Reposado Tequila at Costco is made in Mexico. Don Julio Tequilas are among the most iconic tequilas and Costco has a great price on them! This is an authentic Mexican Reposado tequila made from agave, and aged a minimum of 6 months in American white oak barrels. The Tequila Don Julio Reposado is known for its rich character and unusual softness, making a popular, balanced tequila.
Update: Since we last reported on the availability of the Don Julio Reposado Tequila at Costco, there has been a price increase – and the bottle has been updated (just the label/look).

About Don Julio Reposado Tequila
The Don Julio 1942 label has produced premium tequilas for more than 50 years. Don Julio himself oversees the blue agave planting and harvesting – agave is hand selected so that only the best is used in his Reposado Tequila. Costco also sells 2 other Tequilas from Don Julio: Blanco and Tequila Anejo.
Reposado tequila is known for its smooth, balanced flavor and we think it’s a great value for a mid-priced tequila – especially at the Costco price!

DON JULIO REPOSADO TEQUILA RECIPE
Tequila Old Fashioned from Don Julio on Instagram
1.5 oz Don Julio Reposado Tequila
1 tsp Simple syrup
2 dashes Aromatic bitters
1 Orange peel
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass over ice. Stir until thoroughly chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over a large format ice cube. Garnish with an orange peel.
