Costco Deli Chicken Sandwich on Sprouted Grain Bread

Costco Deli Chicken Sandwich

This prepared Costco deli chicken sandwich from Costco is a simple yet substantial sandwich in the prepared food section. The Kirkland Signature Chicken sandwich features sliced deli roasted chicken, provolone and cheddar cheese, along with lettuce and tomato, all served on sprouted grain flatbread. It comes with a side of dijon mayo which comes in two separate condiment cups, so it’s easy to split this sandwich with someone else. And you’ll probably want to, it’s HUGE!

Pro Tip: If you want to cut down on fat and calories in the Sprouted Grain Chicken sandwich, ditch the dijon mayo and opt for a traditional yellow or dijon mustard.

  1. Bought it today absent a nutrition label. This almost 1/2 of my daily calorie intake and a really high fat intake. Will only be having 1/2 of a sandwich until gone and will never buy again Totally not a healthy meal.

    1. Not sure if you use the dijon mayo – but I do think that mayo is just a killer in terms of calories/fat – if you use it sparingly (or just use your own mustard) I think you’d dramatically reduce the calories. The nutrition info isn’t broken down to sauce versus sandwich, so all I can do is speculate but that’s my take on it so sharing if helpful.

  2. Does your nutritional value include the sauce (1/2 of one cup)? I am trying to figure out where the 40g of fat comes from. The cheese, bread, and meat would all have less than 10g (meat less than 5g likely). Curious if the remaining 20-25g is coming from the sauce. any info you have would be appreciated.

    1. The nutritional information provided to me does not specify, but based on my experience Costco’s nutrition panels for deli items do include a share of provided sauce – and you’re totally right 40 grams of fat HAS to be coming from mayo, right? I got the label from Costco, however it didn’t stipulate that specifically but I’m quite confident it does include a share of the sauce. Apologies I don’t have a concrete answer but I hope that helps.
