Costco Seasoned Rack of Pork with Cooking Instructions

We host almost every holiday, and love hosting in our home…but it’s a lot of work. Sometimes I need to use shortcuts and another easy ready-to-roast holiday meal option from the Costco Deli we recommend to consider is the Kirkland Signature Seasoned Rack of Pork at Costco. The Costco pre-seasoned rack of pork ribs is a crowd pleaser with adults and kids alike, and on the affordable side for such a popular, easy and flavorful main dish. We think it is a great easy meal main dish shortcut for a busy host, holiday party, Easter dinner or Christmas dinner. Plus, it’s actually affordable enough to make it for no-occasion! In case you lost your cooking directions or just prefer to use a larger recipe card (that print is REALLY tiny, isn’t it? lol) we’ve also got the cooking instructions for you here to roast your rack of pork from Costco!
We recommend you toggle โhands free modeโ on the recipe card below (when using on a desktop/laptop) to keep your computer from sleeping while youโre using them. The cooking directions for the Costco Rack of Pork are also printable if that’s easier ๐
ProTip: Calculate out this rack of pork’s cooking time (based on the size of your actual piece the day before you need to roast it so you can be sure to set a plan how/when to cook any side dishes. The main thing about roasting this Costco rack of pork is to check for an internal temperature reading of 145 degrees fahrenheit. We recommend using an in-oven meat thermometer to avoid having to check it repeatedly – it’s more accurate and much easier, especially when preparing a large family holiday meal!
Costco Rack of Pork Tips
If you’re planning ahead to serve the Seasoned Rack of Pork from Costco, here are some tips for you:
- set aside 1.5 to 2 hours of cooking time, plus 15 minutes to rest. See detailed cooking instructions below.
- plan to purchase the rack of pork 5 days or less ahead of the date you need it.
- purchase about 1 pound per person, including the weight of the bone, for about ยฝ-ยพ pound of meat per guest. If you’re expecting big eaters or want to have leftovers, you may need to buy more.
ProTip: These are made in-house locally in each Costco Deli. As such, they can vary a bit – we’ve heard a number of questions about the onions stuffed inside the rack of pork. If you don’t know there are onions inside, you might wonder if they’re fat or plastic packaging – but don’t worry, they are tiny diced onions! If you don’t love them, you can scootch them off to the side – but overwhelmingly, Costco members like the onions!

These are $0.50/lb more than it cost for Christmas 2023 if you’re looking at year-over-year, but not too bad considering Costco has managed to keep a very large number of holiday items the same price as last year – not everything can stay the same I suppose ๐
