My Review
I recently tried Main Street Bistro Scalloped Baked Potatoes from Costco and was pleasantly surprised by how tasty (and easy!) they were for the price. I usually prefer making scalloped potatoes from scratch, but these were pretty delish considering they are bake and serve and ready in under 10 minutes.
They were super easy to bake in the oven, and came out nice and cheesy and gooey – and were almost as good as my homemade scalloped potatoes (almost). I did transfer them to a casserole dish instead of baking in the container they came in, unlikely that made a difference, but worth mentioning just in case 🙂
I think next time I might add diced ham or bacon and call it a meal! Our family enjoyed them as a quick and easy prepared side dish from Costco – my picky kiddo didn’t but he doesn’t like potatoes (I know, I know…he’s from space!) so no surprises there.
Nothing beats homemade, but I will definitely be buying these again, especially for busy nights when I don’t have time for cooking every part of a meal from scratch (real life, you know?!). Overall, I do recommend trying the Main Street Bistro Scalloped Baked Potatoes at Costco for a quick side.

Having a party and would like to use two packages and transfer them to a casserole dish and bake in the oven. Normally I bake in the microwave. Does this affect the time to cook?
I find it takes longer in a casserole dish – maybe the dish itself needs to heat up? I would heat them individually then transfer them after they’ve warmed up to the dish. I worry with twice as much in the container and a thicker container, you may need to stir it or you’ll get uneven warming.
