Costco has always been one of the easy, walk-in spots for travel passport photos…but we have some sad news to share…you can no longer get your passport photos at Costco stores. Not even 1. It’s a nationwide change as of February 14th, 2021 for all Costco stores nationwide. Like a poorly times Valentine’s Day breakup, lol! Costco passport photos, as well as a number of other beloved photo services are gone. Are you planning a trip? Make sure you visit our Costco Travel page before you book!

In-Store Photo Centers at Costco Closed Permanently

Costco Photo has long been a great place to order quick same-day photo prints, get passport photos, photo restoration, home movie transfer services and ink refills – however as of February 14, 2021 Costco Wholesale Photo Center will not be offering these services.

You read that right, it’s not just the passport photos that are no longer available in-store…all Costco photo printing in-store will cease. There are still some limited photo printing services online at Costco Photo Online, however prints, posters, Costco passport photos and other same-day turnaround, in-store services will no longer be available.

You can no longer get Costco Passport Photos In-Store. Here's the complete list of Costco Photo Center Services you can and cannot get after February 14, 2021.

Some of the Costco Photo Center’s services will move online and still be available. Although they can’t offer Costco passport photos, many photo center services have moved to online only and are available at CostcoPhotoCenter.com. Photo orders will be available for home or business delivery, and include posters, enlargements, prints, stationary, greeting cards, Canvas prints, metal prints, acrylic prints, photo books, photo calendars, various photo gifts, and business printing services.

Using home delivery photo printing and ordering is super easy, you can print photos straight from your phone using the Costco mobile app. Plus, order all your photo gifts, cards, canvas prints, metal pints, photo books and more.

How to find Costco Photo Center On the App

  • Tap “More” on the bottom bar of the app screen
  • Select “Photo Center”
  • Select to create photo books, mugs, or prints or other photo gifts
  • Choose home/business delivery or store pickup
  • View order history and uploaded photo albums
  • Press the Home button on the on the top left to return to the home screen of the app
Install (or update) the Costco app from the App Store® or the Google Play™ store.
