Costco Lemon Cheesecake

Costco Lemon Cheesecake - Made in Italy by Emmi

Lemon and cheesecake are two of my favorite things so when you put them together I say YES PLEASE! These Costco lemon cheesecakes by Emmi are made in Italy. The Italian Lemon Cheesecakes are individual servings sized desserts with a layered lemon curd sauce, biscuit crumble, lemon cream and candied lemon peel, all ready to serve in an individual reusable glass dessert cup.

Huge shout out to Emmi and Costco for supporting another product that’s not in plastic (they also have Hot Chocolate Souffle in glass dessert cups!). Glass isn’t cheap. Not to buy, not to ship. It has more breakage. But it’s a far more sustainable and green choice and it’s awesome to see Costco opting for glass products in-store!

.

I think these could be repurposed after as cute little mini succulent planters maybe? Fill with a bit of dirt and pebbles and a succulent clipping? Similar to the DIYs I see people do with the glass yogurt and pudding cups. Or of course reuse them as little dessert cups for jello or pudding, or just recycle them. Whatever you choose to do…I’m a fan and yes to the lemon and yes to the cheesecake and yes yes yes to the glass serving cups!

  1. Not impressed. Definitely not cheesecake. Just sweet but nothing close to cheesecake. Has a bit of lemon curd. Three bites and you are done. Took a chance. Sometimes you win and sometimes …

  2. I brought these to an event tonight and it was embarrassing. The first three people to try it stopped at the second bite and couldn’t finish. They taste like they were made with lemon cleanser, with a chemical aftertaste.

    They are being returned tomorrow.
