Returning to Costco periodically is this DELICIOUS 505 Southwestern Flame Roasted Green Child in Medium. The 505 Southwestern Green Chile at Costco is a true medium, with a nice little kick but not too spicy. These are comparable to the little cans of green chile you can purchase, but they are MUCH BETTER!! We just bought a jar less than 2 weeks ago, and it’s 3/4 gone already…its that good!

Why We Like It – Our Review

These pack of TON of flavor and punch. We put them on any kind of Mexican food, plus on top of salads or alongside any grilled meats. I use it in chili and in my slow cooker to make tacos (with beef or chicken).

They aren’t burn your mouth off spicy but they have a nice little kick – HIGHLY recommend!!

  1. I absolutely love the 505 southwestern Hatch Chili Salsa. I would buy a jar every week, Then, retail grocery chains started carrying your full line in a smaller version, and this disappeared from Costco. It reappeared once or twice, but I haven’t seen it in over a year. The price was phenomenal. Grocers in this area seem to run continuous out of stocks, and there prices are ridiculous. Feel free to contact me if you can ship full cases directly to me. Or, tell me when you will have it again, so I can ask Costco to order a case for me. It really my favorite salsa, Period.

Can I buy it directly from you? I would order a full case.

    1. I’m sorry I just reviewed the product – I’m not the manufacturer so I can’t help with getting you the product. I haven’t seen it in awhile at Costco either so hopefully we’ll see it back soon! It is so good, especially for summer! I throw half a cup with some salsa or marinara into the crock pot with some beef chuck and slow cook all day and then shred it for beef tacos – super easy and it’s devoured at my house!! We also like them on salads!
