If you haven’t had mini cakes at Costco before, they are somewhere between a cupcake and a cake. A huge portion for 1, easily split by 2-3 people. They are fan favorite item and Costco changes the mini cake flavor throughout the year. The Red Velvet have been available for awhile, we’re just seeing the added Valentine’s frosting now for Valentine’s day. Fun and classic dessert choice!

They’ll likely continue to be available after Valentine’s Day, just sans the heart decor on top! Or maybe Costco will change the flavor…we never know…it’s the Costco treasure hunt!

Where to Find Them In-Store

During valentine’s day you’ll usually find these in an open refrigerated case alongside the Chocolate Dipped Strawberries. Throughout the remainder of the year, Costco swaps out the mini cake flavor, and you can find the current mini cakes available in the refrigerated cake case in the Costco bakery.

You can also custom order valentine cupcakes from the Costco Bakery, and they will likely be able to duplicate a similar design on them if you ask.
