New in the Costco Lawn and Garden section! Miracle Gro Organic Choice In-Ground and Raised Bed Soil is now back at Costco for all your spring planting needs. The 50 quart bag can be used for both a traditional in-ground garden or your raised garden beds. I buy this and use it in my outdoor garden beds, as well as top off the soil around the plans and shrubs in my yard. I bought 5 bags this year in 2024, and recommend it! It’s a super bargain for organic soil even when comparing to the big box home improvement stores – I don’t know anywhere that beats Costco’s price!

Seasonality Note: Miracle Gro Organic Soil at Costco is a seasonal item. It returns to warehouses each year around February/March for the Spring planting season. It’s generally available in-stores for about 3 months or so. If you’re looking outside of the February – May timeframe, you won’t find it in-store at Costco.

What are you planting in your garden this year? My shishito peppers and tomato plants survived from last year (California winters are kind to gardens) and I’ll be planting carrots, cucumbers, and all kinds of herbs!

Miracle Gro Organic Choice Soil, 50 Quart Bag, is Costco Item 1618286 and costs $9.99 in-store.

Money Saving Tip: Keep your eye on the Costco Coupon Books, we purchased a few bags of this organic soil from Costco on sale when it was $2.00 off per bag.

Price Increase for 2024: That’s $.20 a bag more than last year in 2023 when it was $9.79/bag…not bad!! Thank you Costco! It also got a new item number – previously it was item number 1618290.

Miracle Gro organic soil is not currently available online, however you can find all the fertilizers, mulch and soil options available from costco.com here.
