Place amount needed in bowl or pan, cover with plastic wrap, and thaw on bottom shelf of fridge overnight. Or place entire bag in fridge overnight if you want to thaw all of them.

How to Quick Thaw Frozen Chicken Wings

Prep Time: 2 minutes
Additional Time: 1 hour
Total Time: 1 hour 2 minutes

Need to thaw your frozen wings in a jif? These instructions will help you quickly thaw your frozen Kirkland Signature Frozen Chicken Wings from Costco. They should work for any other brand too 🙂

You'll need a large bowl and a ziploc bag. Best to do it in your sink, but countertop will work too!

  • Frozen Chicken Wings

Instructions

  1. Place desired amount of chicken wings in a ziploc freezer bag, removing as much air as possible before sealing fully. Don't fill bag more than 1/2 way - use multiple bags if you need to thaw more.
  2. Place in a large bowl in your kitchen sink and fill with cool water, and leave in water for 30 minutes.
  3. Remove water and replace with more cool water, leave in water for 30 minutes.
  4. Use as desired in your favorite wings recipe!

Notes

Once thawed, its recommended to use them same day and to use a meat thermometer to ensure an internal temperature of 180 degrees fahrenheit when cooking.

  1. I bought the 10 LB. Kirkland chicken wings.
    1- it did not state at what temp. the oven should be or for how long.
    2- It does not state if the wings are cooled or uncooled.
    3- On the internet it states that yes they are cooked and yes they are not cooke ?
