Costco has issued a recall alert to customers who purchased several variations of 30″ and 36″ luxury gas ranges manufactured by ZLINE due to a carbon monoxide risk. If you have an affected range, stop using the oven immediately.

The affected Costco item numbers are #1590824 (RGBC36), 1590822 (RGC-36), 1544615 (RGKB-30), or 1544622 (RGKB-36) – ZLINE gas-powered ranges purchased between June 2021 and September 2022.

.

At this point we still understand this to be a voluntary recall, and the manufacturer will service the ranges in-home to repair them. Contact information for ZLINE to request a free repair visit by a trained technician or a return option is as follows:

  • phone – Toll-free at 1-888-359-4482 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET Monday through Friday
  • email – at ZLINEKitchen@realtimeresults.net
  • online – at www.zlinekitchen.com/recalls
  • register claim online – https://zline.force.com/rgrecall/s/

The manufacturer does note that the oven is the affected area – not the range top – and that range tops (burners) may continue to be used for food prep while you await service/repair…but please do not use the oven until your range is serviced!

The manufacturer further clarified that ZLine professional ranges unaffected by this recall include the 24” and 48” Gas Ranges, all Dual-Fuel Ranges, Induction Ranges, and all Rangetops, Drop-in Cooktops and Wall Ovens.

As always please read all information provided by the manufacturer and retailer and direct questions directly to them – we try to provide important information to you here, but things can and do change with recalls and product safety so please see Costco Product Safety and the manufacturers website for more, updated and complete information.

Note: Additional ranges may be affected that were not sold at Costco. Please consult ZLINE.
