The frozen Maine Lobster at Costco is fully cooked which makes a super easy but delicious meal! Just thaw the amount of lobster you want in the refrigerator or under cold water for some lobster cocktail…or thaw and quick steam to reheat and serve with butter or grass fed ghee! Chef’s choice.

I grew up in New England and now living in Southern California, I miss all the fresh live Maine lobster we used to be able get on Cape Cod!

Wild Cooked Lobster Claws Frozen are Costco Item Number 36854 and cost $28 per 2lb bag or $14/lb.

Each package of frozen lobster contains 3-7 pieces. Most of the bags at my Costco contained at least 5. The claws tended to be on the smaller side…but still looked good to me!

Keto Lobster Preparation Ideas

Lobster Scampi (Keto, Paleo and Whole30): This simple Lobster Scampi with “Pasta” is Keto, Whole30, Paleo and Dairy Free. Using hearts of palm veggie noodles (can substitute for Healthy Noodle) with ghee, garlic, shallots, lemon juice, fresh parsley and salt/pepper.

Keto Lobster Salad:  This authentic (as possible) traditional lobster salad uses mayonnaise, dijon mustard, fresh lemon, salt and pepper. Serve it atop some fresh butter lettuce or on a Keto roll!

Keto Lobster Fritters: This recipe uses pork rind crumbs and almond flour alongside the classic ingredients like red bell pepper, parsley, scallion, Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. These fritters are so delicious even your non-keto friends will love them!

We recommend enjoying Costco Lobster with a glass of La Mura Organic Pinot Grigio or Conundrum!

  1. In Rochester NY, the 2 lb bag is 5 to 7 pieces, $15 per pound. They only have one shipment which was out today (12/20/2021). Going fast.
