For the gift for my MIL who was entering cancer treatment, I paired this super soft cardigan with a few pairs of the barefoot dreams socks and a barefoot dreams throw blanket – it’s so cold in the chemo rooms (plus chemo makes people feel cold) so I thought these are nice and warm and soft – she loved them! You can also check Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack to see if they have any sales on these – I know they are really expensive!

The Barefoot Dreams cardigan from Costco is made from 100% Polyester Microfiber, which is ultra plush and lofty. Barefoot dreams is beloved for its softness and durability, so it is not only comfortable but also long-lasting. The cardigan features an open front, thick fold over shawl collar and two inset pockets. The chenille yarns blend gives it a luxurious feel, and although I know it’s very expensive, this will last longer than the cheap dupes out there. Just don’t over-do it in the dryer!
Available in two colors, Taupe (Deep Taupe with a hue of purple) and Cream (Seashell). The open-front design, coupled with a cozy fit, makes it easy to wear and style.

Care Instructions & Tips
Caring for the cardigan is straightforward, ensuring it maintains its quality over time. The cardigan is machine washable. For drying, you can lay it flat or tumble dry low. It’s important to avoid using bleach, dryer sheets, the medium or high dryer serttings, or fabric softener to preserve the fabric’s integrity and softness.
We recommend laying it flat to dry until 90% dry, and then tossing it in dryer on low at the end to soften and fluff it it little. Many dryers can run hot, and that ruins the fabric 🙁
