I’m a big fan of home grocery delivery, and of course I love a good Costco Instacart promo code to save money! Costco can deliver in as fast as 2 hours and it also lets you schedule deliveries up to 5 days ahead.

I love scheduling deliveries for when we return from vacation or during busy weeks when I don’t have time to shop in-store, so worth spending a little extra to have food arrive right after we return!

Shopping Tips for Same Day Costco Powered by Instacart

A few notes about same-day Costco if you haven’t ordered before:

The prices on same-day Costco are about 15 to 20% higher than in-store, averaging around a 17% markup. Additionally, there are Instacart fees and, of course, a tip for your shopper. So this isn’t the best money saving strategy…however…some people feel that they skip impulse buys and end up not really spending that much more by doing delivery…but of course that’s highly dependent on your shopping habits 🙂

Same-day Costco delivery via Instacart does accept EBT SNAP cards for eligible items. Generally speaking, most items at Costco are EBT SNAP eligible. However, delivery fees and tips are not covered by the EBT SNAP card.

Although the prices are marked up, the Costco coupon book deals still apply to same-day Costco Instacart delivery orders. Make sure to check the most recent coupon book to see all the deals and save more money on your order:
