Kids Halloween Costumes at Costco

Costco carries GREAT kids Halloween costumes in-store! This year for Halloween 2023 you’ll find a wide variety of Halloween Costumes at Costco for kids of all ages for $29.99. Trick-or-treating, trunk-or-treating, Halloween costume parties, school costume parades, dress-up and more…these costumes are great quality and have loads of details and many come with various costume accessories – they’re a great value and quality for the price – we’re big fans of the Costco Halloween costumes!
Keep your eye out for those Pumpkins and Bats ravioli in your Costco warehouse, they make a really fun festive spooky supper before trick-or-treat time!
Costume Sizing
Most costumes from Costco come in little kids sizes. Some Halloween costumes at costco in-store will fit older elementary aged children, but for adults and teens, you should plan to shop somewhere else like Amazon or Party City for your Halloween dress up needs.
2023 Costco Halloween Costumes for Kids In-Store
These are a few of the Halloween Costumes you’ll find in-store at your local Costco – please note that these costumes are for kids. Costco doesn’t generally carry adult Halloween Costumes.
Some of these costumes are also online – see next paragraph – so you can see what some of them look like even if you’re planning to purchase your kids’ Halloween costume in-store at Costco.
The thing we love most about the Halloween costumes at Costco is all the details and accessories – you won’t likely need to purchase separate and additional props for these. From helmets, to wings, belts, wands, walkie talkies, shoe covers, gloves, hoods, tiaras, axes, and more – the kid’s costumes are really detailed and fun!
- Star Wars Mandalorian (multiple styles)
- Marvel
- Fairies
- Unicorn
- Witch
- Pirate (several variations including a pink version)
- Ice Princess (Frozen vibes but not a Disney Princess costume)
- Fireman
- Ninja
- Swat
- Pilot
- Spider-Man
- Flamingo
- Mermaid
- Peacock
- Viking
- Astronaut
A number of these kids Halloween Costumes at Costco are also available online. It’s a few dollars more online to include shipping – but even if you’re planning to purchase in-store you can see what the costumes look like, what accessories they come with, sizing, etc. See next paragraph.
One thing I noted about the Costco Halloween Costumes this year in 2023 is that besides the Star Wars Mandalorian and Spider-Man, there aren’t many official character costumes like Disney or Universal Licensed costumes. So no Frozen, Encanto, Harry Potter, Belle, Jurassic, etc. If I spot them added to the Halloween costume rack at Costco I’ll edit this and add them to the list, but it looks like Costco costumes are moving away from branded characters. If you spot any Halloween costumes at your local Costco that I missed in my list, please drop them below in the comments!! Especially if you see the popular branded character costumes – while all of the costumes are great quality for the price, the licensed/branded character ones were always a SUPER deal.
Here are our suggestions/recommendations if you’re looking for Disney Princess costumes like Frozen, Encanto, and Beauty and the Beast, or any other Disney Princess halloween costume.

Pick and Order Halloween Costumes Early for Best Selection
Costco often sells out of popular costumes. So while it may seem really early…if you want to grab these costumes at these prices…I highly recommend buying or ordering them early!
We’re big fans of showing kids all the options online and ordering online and being done with the Costume picking early! In the past, we’ve let the “discussion” go on for too long and the kids flip-flop and are indecisive and we always end up ordering their Halloween Costumes for a premium price at the last second (the Party City near is is total mayhem for the 4 days preceding Halloween!).
I highly suggest you set a pick your costume date well in advance of Halloween – pick the Costume – buy it and be done.
Return Policy for Halloween Costumes at Costco
The good part about purchasing Halloween costumes at Costco is that you can return them – so if hearts are broken over an early costume choice/decision and you decide to change, Costco members can take the unused Halloween Costume back to Costco for a refund!
Switch Witch
Now, as for all that Halloween Candy your kids will eat, you’re on your own! lol. You can try the switch witch for younger kids – we got away with that when they were little! Before bed, kids pick 5 pieces of candy (or whatever amount you want) to keep, and place the rest of their candy by the front door. In the morning, the Switch Witch leaves a small toy/gift in exchange for the candy.

Does Costco sell adult Halloween Costumes?
Costco doesn’t carry adult Halloween Costumes in-store.
I went yesterday and noticed there weren’t many licensed costumes. I saw the ones you mentioned s well as Harry Potter Gryffindor costumes. 🙂
oooh, my store didn’t have Harry Potter – thanks for sharing!! I’ll look out for them! I had one awhile back and I liked it because it was so easy to put the cape and scarf on over anything and be in costume, but I lent it out and it never came back (or came back but didn’t make it back into the costume bin, hard to say lol!). Thanks again!
